Naija Palava is a free, satirical, 18+ game that runs in your browser and as an Android app. This page tells you, in plain words, what we collect, why, where it is kept, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can do.

3. What we do not do

4. Who handles your data for us

Service providers act only on our instructions: Cloudflare (hosting the website), Supabase (stores saved games, emails and feedback), and PostHog (anonymous usage analytics). Your data is stored on their servers, which may be outside Nigeria (for example in the United States or Europe). When data leaves Nigeria we rely on the NDPA safeguards: the providers' contractual data protection terms and security controls, and we send only what is needed.

5. How long we keep it

Saved games and emails: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after your last save, whichever comes first. Feedback: up to 24 months. Anonymous usage data: up to 24 months. We then delete or anonymise it.

6. How we protect it

Data is sent over encrypted connections (https), stored with access controls, and only the Naija Palava team can read it. No system is perfect. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within the time the law requires (72 hours for the Commission).

7. Your rights under the NDPA

To use any right, or to delete your data: email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the email you used in the game, with the subject "My Naija Palava data" and what you want. You can also message @naijapalavagame on X, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook. We answer within 30 days. Data that is only on your phone: clear site data for naijapalava.com or uninstall the app.

8. Cookies and storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep your game, settings and age confirmation on your phone, and a random visitor ID for anonymous counts. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

Naija Palava is not for children. If you think a child has given us an email, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Satire notice

All characters, parties, companies and events are fictional satire. It is not a guide to crime.

11. Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Back to the game · About
